About
About the Symposium
Following the success of our inaugural gathering in 2023, the Kobilka Institute of Innovative Drug Discovery (KIIDD) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) is proud to announce the KIIDD Symposium 2026. This premier global event will bring together Nobel Laureates, industry pioneers and emerging talent to advance membrane protein research and therapeutic development. Serving as a beacon of innovation, this three-day symposium is a critical nexus for the international scientific community. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between foundational structural biology and translational medicine, shedding light on the complexities of GPCR pharmacology, ion channel physiology and various disease mechanisms. By showcasing the synergy between state-of-the-art cryo-EM methodologies and AI-driven drug design, the 2026 symposium will accelerate the development of next-generation therapeutics. Join us in Shenzhen to engage in high-level knowledge exchange, foster new mentorships and celebrate our shared vision of a healthier future through scientific excellence.
