Peilong Lu

Dr. Peilong Lu is an Associate Professor and New Cornerstone Investigator in the School of Life Sciences at Westlake University. He earned his B.S. from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2009 and his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University in 2014. From 2015 to 2019, Dr. Lu conducted postdoctoral research in the laboratory of Prof. David Baker at the University of Washington. Currently, his research focuses on the de novo design of proteins, driving interdisciplinary advancements at the intersection of synthetic biology, biophysics, and computational biology.
