Ruobing Ren is an investigator at the Institute of Metabolism and Integrative Biology, Fudan University, where he also serves as Assistant Dean for Teaching. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of lipid metabolism and the design of targeted therapeutic molecules. He has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key R&D Program of China, and other funding agencies. Over the past five years, he has published more than 20 research articles as corresponding author in journals including Cell Res., NSMB, PNAS, Nat. Commun., and Sci. Adv. He has received support from the Shanghai Oriental Talent Program and the Shenzhen High-Level Talent Program (Category A), among others. He has served as a Guest Editor for PNAS and as a Youth Editorial Board Member for hLife and Acta Materia Medica.
